Crush Wine Experiences has always revered and supported New York state wineries through our own in-person events and virtual tastings, and so we were delighted to be selected as a partner for two prestigious New York Wine & Grape Foundation industry events.
Already presenting the NYWGF’s “New York Wine Guide” virtual events for consumers in 2021 and early 2022, we are stoked to be working with the organization. Then, when they asked us to submit a proposal for their two stellar trade events, Crush WineXP answered the call. Like the Oscars, where it’s an honor just to be nominated, we were honored to be asked. Now, upon being selected, we are thrilled to be bringing our A-game of in-person and virtual event skills to two of the organization’s biggest events of the year.
B.E.V. NY (March 29-31), is the annual grape and wine conference presented by NYWGF, Cornell’s Finger Lakes Grape Program and the Enology Extension Laboratory. The event will be held virtually from March 29 through March 31 over 3 days. It will feature live virtual presentations and bring together the best minds in the wine biz via vital programming encompassing business, enology, and viticulture topics — all essential to the state’s winemakers.
The New York Wine Classic Awards Ceremony (July date TBA), the culmination of 4 months of judging selections entered into the prestigious annual competition, celebrates numerous New York varietals with awards for Best of Class, Best of Category, and the prized Governor’s Cup (a large silver chalice that looks great in any tasting room), recognizing the Best of Show in the New York Wine Classic. The highly coveted Winery of the Year award will be presented to the winery with the best overall scoring based on the level and number of awards received in the competition. This live virtual event will be open to the public and will feature winning winemakers and celebrated industry personalities talking about the best of the best New York state wines. Stay tuned for more info on our website — so you can sign up to discover what your favorite New York state wines will be in 2022.
