Jazz in the Vines: What to Expect In 2026

This Season’s Lineup

Jazz in the Vines 2026 is back at Jamesport Vineyards for all four concerts this year, and it’s off to a great start. The series kicked off July 18 with vocalist and songwriter Lindsey Webster, who wowed the crowd with her vocal range and expressive style.

Here’s the rest of the lineup:

• August 1 — Eric Darius, saxophonist and funk master, brings high-energy sets full of groove.

• August 15 — Spyro Gyra returns for the third time, playing some of contemporary jazz’s most well-known melodies. The group has been touring and wowing audiences for over four decades.

• August 29 — Peter White, guitarist extraordinaire, returns for a ninth consecutive year — making him the most popular artist in Jazz in the Vines history.

What to Expect at Jazz in the Vines

• Venue: All 2026 shows are at Jamesport Vineyards, on the back lawn between two vineyards — beautiful gardens, with seating, and a perfect setting for summer evening jazz. The concerts are under a spacious, open-sided tent that offers protection from the elements, and they take place rain or shine.

• Doors/show times: 6 PM doors open. 7 PM show time.

• Seating: Folding chairs are arranged in auditorium-style concert seating, with three categories of tickets: front row (20 seats), upfront, and general admission.

• Doors/show times: 6 PM doors open. 7 PM show time.

• Wine & food: This year’s Jamesport wines are excellent, most from the 2025 vintage — the Albariño in particular is a standout. Outside food and beverages are not allowed.

• Parking & getting there: Parking is free on site. The best way to arrive is by car or local Uber/taxi.

• Weather policy: Rain or shine.

Pair It With a Day Trip

Many guests make a full day of it — exploring North Fork wineries before the show. Consider pairing your evening at Jazz in the Vines with a Day Trip To Wine Country® for the full North Fork experience. Inner Circle members also enjoy $10 off per person on ticket prices.

The Story Behind Jazz in the Vines

Jazz in the Vines started a decade ago, in 2016, with a simple idea: pair the top names in contemporary, smooth jazz with the spectacular wine country of Long Island’s North Fork. It began with a meeting between Sam Kimball, founder of Crush Wine Experiences, and Ron Goerler, founder of Jamesport Vineyards, on a snowy day in December 2015. Looking out at the wide lawn behind the winery, framed by two vineyards, the two envisioned a musical and cultural experience that could draw an audience from across Long Island, NYC, New Jersey, and Connecticut.

The series launched with two shows in 2016 — Matt Marshak and Richard Elliot — and quickly delivered on its promise: great music in a beautiful setting, paired with award-winning wine and food. A decade later, it’s grown into one of the North Fork’s signature summer traditions.
