Bedrock Old Vine Zinfandel 2020
The 2020 vintage of this gorgeous Zin went through a lot of trials and tribulations to be created. After losing many vines to smoke exposure, they relied on the gorgeous grapes of their other vineyards and exclusively the old vines to produce this luxurious bottle. It’s soft, perfumey and a little peppery – what more could you ask for from a California Zin?
The East Bench Zinfandels are single-vineyard and site-specific which means you know exactly where your grapes are coming from in every single bottle. A really cool thing about this vineyard is that the soils were formed approximately 80 million years ago which contributes to the quality of these classic Zin vines.
Green & Red Chiles Canyon Vineyards Zinfandel 2018
This bottle satisfies the craving for a tried and true delicious Zinfandel. It’s a blend of grapes from three of the canyon-facing vineyards at Green & Red. It’s beautiful and elegant with lovely earthy and fruity flavors that work perfectly together.
The Old Vines Zin from Turley are made from a collection of old vines anywhere from 41 to 129 years old from all over California. Old vines contribute to a more complex and sustainable wine which is why they’re ideal for something like a Zin. The vines in this one are an average of 89 years old!
Chronic Cellars Dead Nuts 2017
Besides having the coolest name and label, the Dead Nuts Zin is a funky delicious bottle. You’ll get unique notes of brown sugar and white pepper alongside the classic notes of blackberry and dark fruit flavors.
