Thousand Islands Winery is the largest farm winery in Northern New York state and is located along the majestic St. Lawrence River on a historic 40-acre farmstead established in 1836. The winery began in 2002 with the purchase of the farm by Steve Conaway and his wife Erika. The primary grape varieties being grown at the winery include Frontenac, Frontenac Gris, Marquette and La Crescent which were developed by the University of Minnesota.
