Arrive at Nice airport and transfer on your own to your hotel in Nice. Check-in at 4-star Le Méridien Hotel (rooms ready at 2:00 PM). After lunch on your own, meet Sam and your English-speaking private French guide for a walking tour of Nice. Explore Promenade des Anglais with panoramic sea views. Visit Vieux Nice's historic center with narrow alleys, markets, and squares. In the evening, we'll enjoy a Welcome Dinner at Beaurivage Beach Restaurant with three-courses and wine.

After breakfast at the hotel, we'll take a scenic drive through Antibes and along Cap d’Antibes, followed by a shuttle boat ride to Saint Honorat Island for a wine tasting of two local wines. The group will continue on to a three-course lunch at La Tonnelle in San Honorat before heading to Cannes for a guided tour of the famed old town. We'll make a stop in historic Saint Paul de Vence on the way back to the hotel in Nice. Dinner in Nice will be on your own, with recommended restaurants.

Check out of the hotel in Nice and begin the day heading north to wine country with a private two-hour tour at Château de Berne, exploring the journey from vine to bottle. In the morning, join our Local Guide for in Avignon for a private tour of the city and see the Ancient city along the Rhône River with rich architecture. We visit the Palais des Papes (Palace of Popes), a 14th-century Papacy residence; entrance tickets included. Marvel at the medieval ramparts, Labyrinthine streets: charming squares, hidden courtyards, picturesque gardens. Stop for lunch on your own at "Les Halles d'Avignon" featuring 40 merchants, Provençal market, and local products, then enjoy a free afternoon at your leisure. We visit Baux de Provence and learn about this historic area with our Local Guide. See medieval village on rocky cliffs. In the afternoon, we visit a Chateau and partake in a local wine tasting & olive oil tasting, featuring 5 wine selections in a flight.
