Join us at North Fork Crush wine shop this Saturday for a complimentary in-store pairing with the founders of Clamity Janes!

We will be pairing 3 wines with Clamity Janes' delicious clam pizza.

Clamity Janes

  • Clamity Janes are a group of North Fork-based female friends who, instead of doing puzzles making sourdough or raising backyard chickens during the pandemic, doubled down on clamming.
  • Chasing low tides whether it’s 4 am or 6 pm, through clamming they discovered a deeper appreciation of the clam and its habitat, the greater Peconic Estuary system that gives the North and South Fork its unique character.

Clam Pizza

  • Clam pizza pie using fresh local clams from Peconic Bay, minced and topped with parsley, olive oil, grated Romano cheese, garlic and oregano.
  • This pie originated at the Frank Pepe Pizzeria Napoletana restaurant in the Wooster Square neighborhood of New Haven, and was first prepared there sometime in the 1950s.
