Overview

Celebrating more than five decades at the forefront of contemporary jazz, Spyro Gyra—led by founding member Jay Beckenstein—returns to Long Island to close out the Jazz In The Vines® series on August 15, 2026 at Peconic Bay Vineyards on the North Fork. What began in 1974 as a casual gathering among friends in Buffalo, New York evolved into one of jazz’s most enduring live acts. More than 50 years later, the iconic jazz supergroup has released over 30 albums, earned multiple gold and platinum records, and performed over 10,000 concerts worldwide. Known for their signature sound and exceptional musicianship, Spyro Gyra remains a must-see live jazz concert on Long Island.

KEY DETAILS

  • Doors Open:  6:00 PM
  • Showtime: 7:00 PM sharp
  • Performance: A 90-minute set, often followed by a 30-minute meet-and-greet with the performer to sign merchandise and connect with guests.
  • The concert will be held outdoors on the winery’s back lawn, under a spacious, open-sided tent that offers protection from the elements—surrounded by acres of beautiful, wine-producing vineyards. The event will take place rain or shine.
  • Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Please note: No dogs allowed.
  • Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to others.
