Overview

Join us for a free virtual tasting with San Rucci Winery in Bakersfield, California. By combining the Sicilian and Tuscan family names together – San Filippo and Becherucci, the tradition of San Rucci was born. San Rucci Winery began over 90 years go when a young Italian from Tuscany his wife and their young family immigrated to the United States.  Today they are still a family-owned winery that wishes to share handcrafted wines reflecting their Italian Heritage and love of family, friends, and traditions

Part of Family Life

  • After immigrating to America 90 years ago,  Francisco Becherucci began to make wine  at home for the family.
  • The family winemaking tradition continued when Francisco’s granddaughter married a winemaker whose Sicilian family had also carried on the tradition of home winemaking.
  • They, in turn, passed the love of family and good wine to their son and daughters.
