Overview

It's a North Fork double-header!  Join us for a special virtual tasting with Sparkling Pointe and Rockwell Wines, two (2) wineries from the North Fork of Long Island. Though they come from the same region, on the surface, these wineries have nothing in common. One is known for its sparkling wines, the other full bodied reds. What they have in common is our special guest, winemaker Andrew Rockwell.

About Sparkling Pointe

  • Sparkling Pointe’s state of the art winemaking facility is dedicated to the exclusive production of Méthode Champenoise Sparkling Wines.
  • Completed in the summer of 2010,Sparkling Pointe’s vineyards are located on the picturesque North Fork, 85 miles from NYC.
  • Sparkling Pointe is certified Sustainable by the Long Island Sustainable Winegrowers Organization

About Rockwell Wines

  • Rockwell Wines is the private label of Andrew Rockwell, the assistant winemaker at Sparkling Pointe.
  • They pride themselves on small lot reds that are polished and elegant.
  • All of their wines reflect the terroir of the North Fork which is heavily influenced by the presence of Long Island Sound, Peconic Bay, and the Atlantic Ocean.⁣
