If you love Italian wine, food, and culture, join us for a FREE info session on Zoom to learn about our Piedmont Italy: Barolo and Barbaresco Tour October 7-14, 2023.  Register and choose the session date that works for you!  In each session we will:

It's an experience iconic landmarks, 11th-century towns, and local life in one of the world's great cultural destinations. Wine cellars,  truffle hunting, artisanal cheeses, and multi-course wine dinners. Award-winning chefs, wineries, and local food purveyors. Piedmont Italy is absolutely amazing!!

THE LAKE REGION

  • Starting out in the spectacular lake region of northern Italy, the tour includes a visit to Isola Bella on Lake Maggiore
  • The island enchants visitors with its Baroque palace and terraced gardens that slope to the lake.
  • It is just 320 meters long by 400 meters wide and is divided between its Palace, an Italianate garden, and a small fishing village.

SLOW FOOD, WINE AND TRUFFLES

  • White truffles!  Truffle hunting with a famous truffle hunter and his dog, followed by multi-course lunch at his farm.
  • Three generations of the family work the farm, gathering not only truffles but also cultivating saffron and a host of local vegetables.
  • Like many other local culinary artisans, the truffle farmer also makes his own excellent wines on-site.

BAROLO: THE KING OF WINES

  • Barolo is often described as one of Italy’s greatest wines, the “king of wines”.
  • Barolo production includes the towns of Barolo, Serralunga d’Alba and parts of La Morra and Monforte d’Alba.
  • The tour visits all of these areas and features 4 premium wine tastings at top rated wineries
  • 4 nights of the tour are spent in the beautiful village of Barolo (pictured here)
