Join Crush Wine Experiences for an immersive VIP wine dinner at Rafele, one of NYC’s beloved Italian restaurants, with Italian wine exoert Pietro Romani. The evening will showcase six exceptional wines from Italy’s Piedmont region—renowned for Barbera and Nebbiolo—paired with a four-course menu crafted by Rafele’s chefs (see below). From crisp whites and vibrant rosé to structured reds and Piedmont’s noble expressions, each pairing highlights the connection between the wines and seasonal Italian cuisine. It will be an evening of discovery, fine dining, and authentic Italian hospitality. This event is 21+ and limited tickets are available.

Speaker: Pietro Romani

  • Pietro Romani runs a premier New York City-based wine firm specializing in the import and distribution of select fine wines, primarily from Italy.
  • Born and raised in the Veneto region of Italy, Pietro has extensive expertise in wine importing and distribution
  • Over the years, he has developed an uncanny knack for identifying hidden gems and hard-to-find selections. He can find that $25 bottle that drinks like a $75 bottle.

Rafele Ristorante

  • In the historic West Village of New York City, Rafele delivers authentic Neapolitan flavors to the Big Apple. 12 years ago, Raffaele Ronca and Romeo Palmisano, a longtime friend and fellow native of Naples, began discussing the possibility of one day opening their own restaurant.
  • Working together with a unified vision they planned every detail, from the eclectic menu of regional Neapolitan favorites and fresh daily made pastas, to various meat dishes, fresh delights from the sea and a renowned wine list.
  • The result of their hard work was realized in the summer of 2012 with the opening of their debut restaurant, Rafele.
