WHAT IS KRUPNIKAS?

  • KAS Krupnikas is a family recipe distilled with local honey and a secret blend of spices Krupnikas is a sweet alcoholic drink that is popular in Lithuania as well as Poland (known there as “Krupnik”).
  • Legend has it that Benedictine monks created Krupnikas in the 1500s.
  • Made with sweet honey and warm spices, it became the drink of choice in the Polish and Lithuanian communities as a way to celebrate holidays, weddings, and even just the everyday.

KAS HISTORY

  • Kas Katinas was born in Brooklyn to a Lithuanian family and reared in New York.
  • For many years he enjoyed making his own secret family krupnikas recipe for holidays and special events.
  • In 2013, he decided it was time to share his krupnikas with the world and started KAS Spirits with his wife Marushka Osman.

COCKTAIL: BEEVARDIER

  • 1.25 oz KAS Krupnikas
  •  1 oz Campari
  •  1 oz Rye Whiskey
  •  Dash of sweet vermouth
  •  Stir with ice and strain into a glass with fresh ice
  •  Double strain into a chilled cocktail glass

A honey-spiced Boulevardier, for those who enjoy both bitter & honey

COCKTAIL: ENDLESS SUMMER

  • 1 oz KAS Krupnikas
  • 1 oz Mezcal
  • 3 oz grapefruit juice
  • 0.5 oz lime juice

Shake with ice and pour into a salt & cayenne rimmed glass
