Overview

In between the vines and beneath the stars, Crush WineXP is delighted to present a super doubleheader featuring Alex Bugnon & Matt Marshak. At the height of the summer, in the heart of wine country. Amidst the grapevines that produce great wines, you will be treated to the sounds of award-winning jazz while enjoying the hospitality, and à la carte food and drink of Jamesport Vineyards. NOTE: The show takes place outdoors on the back lawn of the winery, protected from the elements under a large open-sided tent — next to acres of wine-producing grapes! Rain or shine.

ALEX BUGNON

Contemporary jazz keyboardist and recipient of two Soul Train Music Awards, Alex Bugnon grew up going to the Montreux Jazz Festival in his hometown in Switzerland.
He moved to the United States and spent 4 years working as a session musician, backing urban and jazz performers such as Patti Austin, Freddie Jackson, James Ingram, and Keith Sweat.
Over almost 3 decades, Alex Bugnon has built a strong and loyal fan base across the country and around the world.
His tour schedule has never eased, even besting the great Dizzy Gillespie’s record of appearances at Washington, D.C.’s Blues Alley.
He’s an electrifying performer and a prolific, energetic force on the contemporary music scene.

MATT MARSHAK

Long Island, NY guitarist Matt Marshak brings a truly unique blend of heartfelt and funky music to the world.
His sound and his songs transcend the limitations of genre and classification.
From his funky jazz and blues albums to his R&B covers, Matt’s music is always honest and from the heart.
He is one of America’s premier 21st-century contemporary jazz guitarists.
