Overview

Renowned for his smooth, sophisticated sound and masterful technique, Alex Bugnon, winner of the Best Jazz Album of the Year award, is a standout figure in contemporary jazz. Infusing his melodic piano stylings with elements of R&B, soul, and funk, he creates rich, captivating compositions that resonate with warmth and groove. He engages audiences with every note, leaving them inspired by his talent. Food, wine, and hospitality are offered á la carte from the award-winning team at Peconic Bay.

About Alex Bugnon

Swiss-born pianist and composer Alex Bugnon hails from Caux, near Montreux, home of the renowned Montreux Jazz Festival, where early influences included Herbie Hancock and his uncle, jazz legend Donald Byrd.
Trained at the Paris Conservatory and Berklee School of Music, Bugnon’s style blends jazz, R&B, gospel, and funk.
After moving to New York, he toured with R&B greats like Melba Moore, Freddie Jackson, Patti Austin, and James Ingram.
A pivotal connection with saxophonist Najee led to his first recording contract, launching a prolific career spanning nearly three decades.

KEY DETAILS

Doors Open: 6:00 PM
Showtime: 7:00 PM sharp
Performance: A 90-minute set, often followed by a 30-minute meet-and-greet with the performer to sign merchandise and connect with guests.
The concert will be held outdoors on the winery’s back lawn, under a spacious, open-sided tent that offers protection from the elements—surrounded by acres of beautiful, wine-producing vineyards. The event will take place rain or shine.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed. Please note: No dogs allowed.
Tickets are non-refundable but are transferable to others.
