Join us for a free virtual tasting with DRNK Winery and partner/winemaker, Ryan Kunde. With five generations of vineyard stewardship in Sonoma County dating back to the 1880’s, DRNK is the next winemaking step in Sonoma County. Guided by a philosophy that blends an understanding of the land and tradition with evolving science and data that allows for precision winemaking, DRNK represents the collective joy of working and being together.

The Next Generation

  •  DRNK Winery was founded by partner and winemaker Ryan Kunde in 2012 with his wife Katie, and her parents Dale and Nancy Dougherty.
  • DRNK represents the family’s initials – Dale, Ryan, Nancy, Katie

Sonoma Grapes

  • DRNK takes great pride in showcasing the quality and diversity of Sonoma County’s vineyards.
  • They are passionate about discovering new vineyard sites and specific meso-effects within each vineyard block.
  • Select grapes are chose from six different vineyards in the region, creating adventurous wines that showcase the terroir.

The Cave

  • DRNK Winery is home to a beautiful 300 foot wine cave located in an idyllic setting, atop the Laguna Ridge in the heart of the Russian River Valley.
  • It is one of only four caves in the Russian River Valley
  • The cave is where the wine is cellared and private tours and tastings are held.

Meet Ryan Kunde

  • Winemaking is in Ryan Kunde’s blood, growing up as a fifth generation winegrower on his family estate Kunde Family Winery, dating back to 1904.
  • Bringing a rich legacy to DRNK, Ryan stepped out on his own by starting a new winery with his wife Katie, and her family.
  • Blending the craft of winemaking with science, Ryan is guided by a philosophy that blends an understanding of the land and tradition with evolving science.
