In this virtual tasting, we will get to know Olde York Farm/Cooper’s Daughter Spirits,  a woman-owned and family-operated distillery and cooperage located in Claverack, NY. The owner will demonstrate mixing two (2) delicious cocktails. Grain and fruit used for distillation are grown right on the property in the Hudson Valley to make seasonal batch spirits.

  • The distillery is part of the historic Jacob Rutsen van Rensselaer House & Mill complex. Rensselaer also had his own distillery and cooperage circa 1805.
  • Today the distillery and cooperage resides in Rensselaer’s former carriage house.
  • Handmade barrels, made on-site, are used to age bourbon, whiskey, and brandy.

  • Cooper’s Daughter has received rave reviews and profiles in major media coverage, including NBC, The Washington Post, and Hudson Valley Magazine
  • They are one of the few craft distilleries in NY State that makes its own barrels for aging spirits.
  • On weekends, Cooper’s Daughter mixes and serves cocktails in their Cocktail Garden.

  • Black Walnut Bourbon
  • Cacao Maple Vodka
