Overview

Slovenian wines rival those produced in Italy and France. However they are still a secret to many American wine drinkers.  They have long been overlooked. Slovenia has a  wide variety of microclimates that are nearly perfect for winemaking. The country is literally in the cradle of European wine country, bordered by Austria to the North, Italy to the West, Hungary to the East and Croatia to the South.
