Jazz In The Vines 2020

Jazz In The Vines is back in summer 2020

Three (3) nights of great music on the North Fork of Long Island. Alongside vines that produce award-winning wines, you will be treated to the sounds of award-winning jazz, plus the hospitality, food and drink of Jamesport Vineyards.

Peter White performs July 11 (postponed)

Winner of 4 National Smooth Jazz Awards and 3 Oasis Contemporary Jazz Awards, Peter White has maintained a reputation as one of the most versatile and prolific acoustic guitarists on the contemporary jazz landscape. Armed with an unparalleled combination of lyricism and energy, he combines elements of jazz, pop and classical guitar to create a sound that is singular and at the same time accessible to a broad audience. Peter delivers every single time he hits the stage.

Alex Bugnon and Nelson Rangell perform August 8

A meeting of 2 contemporary jazz giants. Over almost 3 decades, Alex Bugnon has built a strong and loyal fan base across the country and around the world. His tour schedule has never eased, even besting the great Dizzy Gillespie’s record of appearances at Washington, D.C.’s Blues Alley. Last year marked Alex’s 20th consecutive year’s appearance at the legendary venue! Alex always puts on a GREAT show.

Nelson Rangell is one of the most exciting and dynamic saxophonists in the contemporary jazz scene. Jazziz magazine has said that he is “an artist of depth, a master of song, and an improviser non pareil.” While a student at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston, he won Best Jazz and Best Pop/Rock Instrumental Soloist in the Down Beat magazine National Student Recording Awards. Nelson is an amazing talent, and we are super excited to present him for the first time ever at Jazz In The Vines.

Vincent Ingala performs August 22

One of the fastest emerging contemporary jazz recording artists in recent history, multi-instrumentalist, composer and producer, Vincent Ingala has blasted into an exciting stratosphere of his own making since his 2010 critically acclaimed debut album, ‘North End Soul.’ Still in his twenties, the charismatic saxophonist has been named Billboard Smooth Jazz Artist of the Year in 2012, Sirius XM Watercolors Breakthrough Artist of the Year in 2013, and his music is consistently found atop the most noteworthy music charts in the world, including four number one hits on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart, and ten singles in the Billboard Smooth Jazz Top 10.
